Generac Certified Air Cooled Generator Field Service Training
3-day course Allows a technician (who is assigned to an appropriate service dealer) to perform warranty repairs on all air-cooled products (OPE and HSB).
Covers: Basic Electrical and generator theory, operation of generator controls, fuel systems, air cooled engines, using schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Approximately 6 hrs. in classroom and 18 hrs. in lab
- Nightly assignments
Fees include instruction, program materials and lunch.

Accommodations and/or Travel arrangements are NOT included and need to be arranged by the student.
All cancellations require a 7-day notice; any cancellation received less than 7 days from the scheduled class will be subject to a 50% OF THE CLASS COST cancellation fee. Any registered student, who has not cancelled prior to 48 hours before the first day of class, will be charged the full COST OF THE CLASS.

Laptop Requirements – A MAC or PC with internet capabilities. PC running MS Windows operating systems (Windows XP, Windows 7, 8 or 10), along with the latest version of Adobe Reader. Must be able to support a USB Flash Drive.

If this is your first time attending Air-Cooled training, you are not required to enter a tech id. A tech id will be issued from Generac Training and will be emailed with the pre-requisite coursework link.
